Title
For Kid's: Nature Sketching
Description

Come learn simple sketching techniques to better draw nature. Ages 10-14.

Bring drawing pad and pencils. Program geared toward beginner drawers.

The best way to understand something is to draw it through sketching. Looking at an animal or plant in details allows us to really begin to see the object in detail. We will have mounted animals, fossils, artifacts, and other interesting subjects on display for you to sketch. We will also take a hike to look for more interesting things to draw around the park.

Dress for the weather. Wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty, since sometime the best way to draw something is to lie down in the grass and see it from another angle.
