For Adults: Raptor Watch
Description

Hike 2-miles as we search for winter raptors. Limited number of binoculars available.

February is a great time to look for both hawks and owls. Learn basic raptor biology and field identification. Program geared toward beginner birders. Please bring binoculars and field guides. Program is approx 1 hr in length depending upon weather conditions. Please dress to be outdoors for at least 1 hr. Possible raptors we may see on the hike include: red-shouldered hawk, american kestrel, red-tailed hawk, barred owl, northern harrier, etc
