Title
Owls!
Description

Visit with live owl from Ohio Wildlife Center before heading outside on a 1-mile hike to listen for the calls of a Barred Owl.

Program includes both indoor and outdoor activities. Please plan for the program to last 1 ½ to 2 hours. Ohio Wildlife Center will be conducting 30-45 minutes presentation indoor with live owls. Depending upon wild owl activity, we will either take a 1-mile hike to their breeding area OR get in our cars and travel to a different portion of the park and hike to the owl's location. Flashlights are encouraged. We will put red cellophane over the light to prevent disturbance to the wildlife. Dress for the weather. Please contact Chrissy, Glacier Ridge Naturalist, for more information hoff@metroparks.net or 614-873-2660 ext 2.
